St Xaviers Mahad

India celebrates Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year on November 14, on the occasion of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary. The first Prime Minister of India had once said that children are the country’s future, and how we bring them up will determine the future course of our country. This year since 14th November was a Sunday, our school celebrated it on Wednesday, 17th of November. We at St. Xavier’s had organised various events for children to celebrate this joyful day.

It all began with special School Assembly conducted by all the teachers and showered blessings on the children. Later there was an entertaining dance performance by all the male teachers. The students bursted with laughter with this performance. The main attraction was ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ in which more than a hundred students participated. What a wonderful day it was!
