St.Xavier’s School celebrated ,73rd Republic Day like all other years with great pomp and discipline today. Our school is quite famous for its solemn celebration of National ceremonies like Independence Day, Republic Day etc. This year was no exception as well.
The honour of hoisting the National Flag was conferred upon Sr.Teacher Mr.Chetan Sutar. Then the cultural function was opened with an inspiring speech of Mr.Chetan.
Following was a beautiful patriotic song presented by the boys of Std X.A beautiful Bharatnatyam by Miss Archee Patil and group dance by the girls of Std VII were the highlights of the celebration. Mast.Prasanna Jangam from class X impressed everyone with his powerful Hindi speech.The rhythmic parade moved everybody’s patriotic spirits.The ceremony concluded with the inspiring and factful speech by Chairman Mr.Johnson D’Souza and vote of thanks by Principal Mrs.Isabella D’Souza
